Leawo FLV Converter is a free program with which we can encode FLV files into other video formats. Combining simplicity with ease of use, the program offers support for a wide range of video and audio file types with different presets, focusing particularly on portable devices formats.
The conversion process in simplified into three steps: We open the FLV video, pick one of the available output formats, and start the conversion. It can convert FLV into a total of 21 formats, including the most widely used ones (3GP, MPG, AVI, MP4, etc.) and even the not so popular RMVB and RA formats. With this application, it is also possible to extract audio from video into 13 audio formats.
In case you want to make extra adjustments, the options available relate to video and audio quality. Advanced customization settings, including brightness and contrast adjustments, the chance of modifying the video size, and a couple of other options, are only available in the PRO version of the program. So, though advertised as a freeware, the program is merely a demo version of the PRO edition. Still, as it is, it works quite well as a basic video converter.
